Capel WI will be offering tea and WI cake on Saturday 27th July between 2.00 and 4.00pm in St Radigund’s Church. A chance to enjoy a cup of tea and cake here or buy a cake to take home.
There will also be a book stall, bring and buy, raffle and an opportunity to buy some high quality crafts to keep or use as presents. Entertain the children (or yourself) with some outside games – or inside if wet!

On Monday 4th June, in conjunction with the nationwide Lighting of Beacons to commemorate Her Majesty’s Diamond Jubilee, Wing Commander Bob Foster, DFC, a veteran Hurricane pilot will light a beacon at the Battle of Britain Memorial. This will take place, in common with the rest of the country, between 22.00 and 22.30.
The Queen will be lighting hers at 22.15.
