It doesn’t seem possible we are celebrating our tenth anniversary and we thank everyone, stallholders, customers and helpers for your support in making our market so successful and friendly, and long may it continue.

Quality Meats, Beef, Pork, Lamb, Chicken, Game, Sausages, Bacon etc from their farm on the Romney Marsh, are committed to bringing you, the customer, fresh, local, tasty and real value meat. It has only travelled a few miles from where it is born and reared to your plate. Unlike supermarket meat which travels 100’s of miles even before it is slaughtered and then even more miles to be processed and delivered to point of sale.

At Bessborough Farm, we grow 17 varieties of apples, 12 varieties of plums,4 varieties of pears and an assortment of berries. We have been attending Farmers Markets for 4 years and in that time have developed an extensive range of jams and chutneys crammed full of top quality ingredients. There is nothing more satisfying than knowing a carefully produced crop is safely in a customer’s fruit bowl within 24 hours of it leaving the tree. We have enjoyed great success at many Markets across the South East including Capel. On the strength of this success we are currently replanting all our orchards to ensure we can supply our customers for many years to come. With the help of markets like Capel we are able to supply produce that is Fresher, Tastier and Cheaper than the supermarkets. We would like to thank all the customers for their continued support and congratulate the organisers for their efforts in promoting the market and raising a huge amount of money for the community.
