Police Community Support Officer
Hello, I am Gretel Stevens your new Police Community Support Officer for Capel-le-Ferne, Hougham and Alham. I am based at Dover Police Station and my contact number is 07772226209
My role is to tackle anti-social behaviour in the areas such as problem youths and nuisance motorbikes for example. I will be conducting high visibility patrols when working to re-assure the community.
I welcome people to call me with information regarding nuisance behaviour, but would ask you to still call the central police number if a crime is being or has been committed. The telephone number for Dover Police Station if 01304 240055 or if it is an emergency please call 999.
I will be available for a surgery session every 1st Thursday of every month at Capel-le-Ferne Village Hall during the afternoon.
Neighbourhood Watch
Bernard Dowley is standing down as NHW co-ordinator for the village. I’m sure we all thank him for his efforts and will miss his informative EYES OPEN FOR section in the Grapevine.
