Gardeners' Association

The Christmas Party was held on Tuesday, 16th December at St Radigund’s Church. A great time was had by the 46 members who attended and thanks to all who helped with the catering and arrangements for the evening.

Schedules for 2009 are now available as membership is renewed and it was decided at the November AGM that membership subscriptions for this year would be £3.00 per person. The programme has now been fixed and as well as the usual 3 shows in Spring, Summer and Autumn, will include a BBQ with photographic competition, garden visit to Pedlinge and a good selection of speakers at the monthly meetings. It is also proposed that we visit Wisley RHS gardens possibly in late Spring or early Summer.

Our first meeting is at 7.30pm on 17th February when we shall have a social evening with soup and a roll. The March meeting is on 17th March and is the home leg of our annual quiz competition versus West Hougham Gardeners.

All will be held at the Village Hall, Lancaster Avenue.
